Götterfunken
Götterfunken is a performance about the European spirit; about national identity, xenophobia and international unity. It is a mix of music, field recordings, songs, stories, images and live-animation. Composer Wilbert Bulsink and illustrator Geert Glas cycled 9000 kilometers across Europe: via Scandinavia to Istanbul and from there onwards to Macedonia. The Rosa Ensemble joins their trip

Falstaff rivisto (2011)
Opera Spanga and the Rosa ensemble give Verdi's opera a short hunderd and thirty years later a complete update: Falstaff becomes Falstaff Rivisto. Rosa's composers 'decomposed' Verdi's masterpiece. Acoustic sounds are mixed with electronics, The opera in set against a stage of four centuries of art history.

De Kellner en de Levenden (2010)
De Kellner en de Levenden ("The Waiter and the Living") is a piece about atonement, taking responsibility and making choices. Jan Jaap van der Wal performs as he does best: snappy, critical and intelligent. The combination with Rosa’s music creates a sharp-witted, at times ominous and humorous, correlation between music theatre, comedy and literature.

Kookpunt, 'In The Whisk Of A Lamb’s Tail' is a family-perfomance in which smell, taste, images and sound come together. Harry de Wit and the Rosa Ensemble make a kitchen sound like never before. ‘In The Whisk Of A Lamb’s Tail' is kitchen-music for the whole family.

The music theater performance Vaandragers ('Flag carriers') is a performance about hope for progress and the positive feeling of construction. The audience joins in an almost happy, optimistic play of music, text and sound.
