Kookpunt, 'In The Whisk Of A Lamb’s Tail' is a family-perfomance in
which smell, taste, images and sound come together.
Composer Harry de Wit composed KOOKPUNT especially for the
Redsound Festival. An apt title, since this theatrical concert takes place in Het Kookpunt, the place to be for lovers of cooking in Rotterdam.
Kookpunt Rotterdam is the place to be for cooking utensils, tableware, espresso machines and cooking-courses. The combination of Kookpunt Rotterdam and Redsound Rotterdam not as far fetched as one might think; after all, sometimes a concert is just like cooking: treating someone with something nice!
In the kookpunt-studio Kookpunt, 'In The Whisk Of A Lamb’s Tail' will be performed, using things from the shop. In thirty minutes the Rosa Ensemble and Harry de Wit together will prepare a musical Rotterdam-desert together with the Kookpunt-cooks, with the whisk and the wind as main ingredients.
